The Chiara String Quartet and Ember Schrag first shared a bill at Ember's Lincoln, NE, underground house-concert venue, Clawfoot House. Although they come from different ends of the musical spectrum, the Chiaras and Ember quickly realized there was musical kinship between them, as the Chiara Quartet bring classical music to alternative spaces, and Ember brings intense live musicianship and lyrical beauty to her folk-rock songs.
